Give Me a Beat Sticker
The Give Me a Beat sticker has a graph of two waves that are slightly out of tune.
When two tones are close in frequency and they are played simultaneously, you’ll notice a wavering in the volume. This phenomenon is called “beats”. In this image, the tones 440 Hz and 441 Hz produce a beat frequency of one hertz. The blue and red waves add together to form the purple trace. This is what you hear. Once a second, the sound you hear will vary between loud and soft.
